You have read more books than almost anyone I know (besides a cousin of mine who has book addiction problems), but I am SHOCKED you haven't read Anna Karenina or One Hundred Years of Solitude. SHOCKED!!! Anna Karenina might have the greatest opening line ever - "Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." And anyone with experience in the Latin culture will appreciate One Hundred Years of Solitude...I know you're not asking for recommendations but those two are must reads.

I have read excerpts of 100 year of Solitude (in Spanish--Cien anos de soledad) but not the whole thing. I didn't check things unless I have read the whole thing. Same goes with Don Quixote.

Love the new blog look. I'm going to have to go through your list carefully and determine what I need to read next. So many books, so little time...

We have pretty similar lists. I should read Lolita I think because reading Lolita in Tehran is a favorite book. :)

I would be pathetic if I attempted this. But I bet my Mother in law would do well. I will have to have her stop by :)
